User Friendliness:
The Swing Catalyst software has been praised by coaches around the world for its user friendliness. The software makes it extremely easy to record swings and incorporate the results in your teaching. Swing Catalyst visualizes information in a simple and intuitive way that is easy to understand for both you and your students.
Launch Monitor Support:
A unique feature of the Swing Catalyst Pro is the launch monitor integration. Swing Catalyst currently supports both the popular Trackman and FlightScope launch monitors. This integration allows the user to instantly view all the launch monitor data with the video images. Even the ball flight is synchronized with the impact and replayed simultaneously with the video file. The seamless integration of the launch monitor data paves the way for the user to look at the correlations between the swing itself and the actual result of the shot. All launch monitor data is stored with each individual swing, and it is possible to filter old and new swings based on carry distance, spin rate and smash factor.
Cameras:
The Swing Catalyst Pro supports up to 4 cameras, including high-speed cameras such as the GigE Vision cameras and the popular Casio Exilim. The choice of camera depends on several factors such as available space and light conditions. Our team will assist you to source the best alternative according to your needs and limitations.
Video Analysis Tools:
Swing Catalyst offers all the conventional drawing tools, side-by-side comparison, adjustable playback speed and a swing library. The swing library (Swing Explorer) organizes all students and groups neatly by date and time to make it easy for you to navigate through your student base. It is also possible to filter swings by type of club and launch monitor data (if you have a launch monitor). Read more about this below.
Record- and e-mail a lesson:
This has been one of the most anticipated features of the Swing Catalyst Pro. The software lets you record everything that happens on your screen, including voice over, drawings, comments, video playback, side-by-side comparison, swing rhythm, swing tempo, results from the launch monitor (if you have one) etc. It just takes 2 clicks to email this video (WMV file) directly to your student, to save it to a USB stick or burn it to a cd.
Filter Swings:
The Swing Catalyst Pro lets you "filter" all the swings in your library based on club type and various launch monitor data. This makes it possible for the user to compare e.g., only 6 iron shots or wedge shots. The user will also be able to filter out shots based on a specific carry distance (e.g., all shots longer than 140 yards or shots between 120 and 140 yards), smash factor and/or spin rate. The filter function can be applied to a single student's swings or to a group of students.
Group Mode:
The Swing Catalyst Pro makes it really easy for the user to run a session with a large (or small) group of students simultaneously. The instructor can smoothly switch from one student to another without having to stop/pause the session. The swings are then automatically stored directly to the individual student?s swing library and can be accessed and viewed at any time.
